ADMISSIONS

The school offers co-education to students and admission is open to all irrespective of caste and creed. Tests and interviews may be conducted and age limit norms are also considered to grant admission.

GENERAL RULES

  1. Uniform must be worn by all students.
  2. Each student must see that classroom and school premises are always kept clean.
  3. Irregular attendances, habitual idleness, disobedience, malpractice in examination, defiance to authority, conduct injurious to the moral tune of the school, non - payment of the school fees are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
  4. No student is allowed to leave the classroom or school premises without the consent of the class teacher and due permission from the principal.
  5. During the absence of the teacher, the class leader is responsible for the order and discipline of the class. He / She have to inform the office if the teacher has not come within three minutes after the j bell. Strict silence should be observed in the absence of the teacher in the class.
  6. All must communicate only in English during the school hours as well as in the school premises.
  7. No child suffering from any contagious disease will be allowed to attend the class.
  8. No books other than school books shall be brought to school.
  9. The school does not accept the responsibility for loss of books, money, umbrellas, ornaments, etc. Students should not bring any valuable articles like money or ornaments to school.
  10. Leave of absence. Leave from the class must be obtained through i a written application by parents or guardians in the prescribed leave I note in the diary and that too for serious reasons only.
  11. Behavior inside and outside the school is expected to be of the highest standard.In matters concerned with the discipline of the pupils, parents will be contacted whenever there is a serious cause for concern and their cooperation will be very much appreciated.
  12. Fighting, bullying and lack of respect for any adult associated with the school or any form of authority, will not be tolerated. Running I is not allowed in corridors.
  13. Enrolment to class LKG or UKG is not in any way presupposes the admission to class I. All are suppose to follow the common criteria fixed by the school to the admission to class I.

AN APPEAL TO PARENTS

  1. Parents and guardians are earnestly requested to see that their children devote sufficient time at home to study, to do their home work and prepare themselves for lessons. Without some involvement from the part of the parents, the school alone cannot hope to do much for their children.
  2. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline.
  3. Report of the student’s conduct and progress will be given from time to time in the diary. Parents are expected to take note of them and to sign them. Individual records are kept on each pupil in the school and parents receive an annual written report on their child’s progress.
  4. Dear parents please give utmost importance to each and every intimation, given from the school from time to time.
  5. Kindly make it convenient to be present in the parent teacher association meeting whenever it is held.
  6. Parents are specially requested to notify the school of any change of address.
  7. They are requested to make any complaint direct to the school authorities and not to the class teachers.
  8. The head of the school has the right to say on what condition a pupil will be admitted or retained in the class.
  9. Any damage or loss to the school properties by the student will be notified to his/her parents or guardian and it shall be their obligation to replace or compensate for the loss.

TO STUDENTS

  1. No student is allowed to leave the school premises without the previous permission of the principal.
  2. Those who reach the school early are expected to be in their seats, learning their lessons. Running, playing, or shouting in the j classroom or veranda even during intervals is prohibited.
  3. Students shall not be allowed to enter any classrooms other than theirs without permission.

EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION

  1. Periodic examination and unit tests are held during the year and I reports are sent to the parents or guardians (Reports sent to the parents should be duly signed within three days and taken note of.) 
  2. Pupils may not allowed to sit for their examination unless the fees have been paid upto date and the progress reports duly signed by parents.
  3. Students will not be allowed to write the exam or monthly tests on days other than the fixed date and time. Those who are absent without grave reasons will be considered as (having) failed. No re-exam will be conducted.
  4. Any kind of malpractice in the examination is punishable with j expulsion from the examination hall and subsequent cancellation I of the paper or the whole examination.
  5. A pupil who fails twice in the same class will be asked to leave the j school.
  6. Results declared at the end of the year are final in all cases. They will not be re-considered and the answer paper will not be shown as well.

CRITERION FOR PROMOTION

40% in each subject in the aggregate. (Terminal Exams + Internal Assessment + Final Exams.)
